“Their food is great, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun and
relaxing…need I say more?” a nomination questioned. Recreating the atmosphere of
New Orleans, diners are often seated (during warmer weather, of course) in the
open-air courtyard or along the balcony, soothed by music – oftentimes live –
and enticed by the aroma of succulent entrees (many Cajun inspired), filling
appetizers and decadent desserts. There’s also an impressive wine list and an
extensive bar. By simply signing up at the eatery’s Web site, patrons are text
messaged about upcoming entertainment. Crawdaddy’s
is a frequent choice for special events, from private parties to community
fundraisers. An event room, The Quarter, seats more than 50 and features a large
projections screen. Nightly trivia games also highlight the restaurant’s
offerings. One visit will quickly show why Crawdaddy’s
has become a local favorite for dinner and for nightlife.
